Dr. Monica Gort

Dr. Gort was born in San Francisco, CA... Prior to answering the call to pastor, she served faithfully, at Acts Full gospel C.O.G.I.C in Oakland Ca, as a Foundation teacher for new converts and as an Evangelism Team Leader. After relocating to Stockton, CA, she attended New Beginning Apostolic Ministries, where she served as Senior Minister, President of the Women's Department and Sunday School Teacher.  Pastor Gort served faithfully at New Beginning until directed by God to open the Wings of Healing Christian Center in July of 1998. Wing of Healing is dedicated to winning souls to Christ, reclaiming the backslider, and ministering healing and deliverance to the lost and dying world.  Pastor Gort has been blessed to earn a Doctorate Degree in Theology, from Dominion Bible College and Seminary, in Fresno California.

Pastor Gort also serves as Overseer to Centro Cristiano De Fe (Faith Christian Center) and Pastor Saul Serna.  This Spanish speaking church was planted in 2004 and conducts worship services in the Wings of Healing Multi-Purpose Center Sanctuary .  She also serves as overseer to Estangue de Betesda (Pool of Bethesda) and Pastor Jose Ortiz, established in early 2015

In addition to her activities in the local church, Pastor Gort is very active on the evangelistic field, preaching and teaching the Word of God across the nation. She is also President of Wings of Healing Ministries, a non-profit, organization which is dedicated to "ministering to the minister" by offering encouragement and support to those laboring for the Gospel..   Wings of Healing Ministries has sponsored conferences, retreats, and training sessions dedicated specifically to those serving in ministry.  Pastor Gort is the proud mother of three adult children, and the Nana of two beautiful grandsons.  Pastor Gort possesses a genuine love for the people of God and believes that everything done for God's people should be done in love and with excellence.
