HEALTH MINISTRY

              

The Health Ministry provides education on the leading causes of poor health, as well as free preventative health screenings, health fairs and referrals to healthcare services. 

.

The purpose of this ministry is to invest in the lives of disadvantaged and at risk people, by assisting them in focusing their attention and energy in productive ways, through providing a positive environment with opportunities for personal growth, development, and progress, which will reduce domestic and gang violence,substance abuse,  teen and un-wed pregnancies, and general juvenile delinquency, and give participants an opportunity to become successful and productive community members.  

This ministry's various events and activities are held in our Community Service Center at 820 E. Main St. which  houses a computer lab, class and training rooms, recreation and meeting rooms, and youth center
